Our friendly folks in Customer Service tell us these are some of the most frequently asked questions. If your questions aren't answered here, please take a moment to let us know how we can help you.

What are your Critter Craft products made from?

Our products are made individually by hand out of a polymer clay called FIMO.

Are your products breakable?

Though very durable, Critter Craft products have the consistency of a terra-cotta pot and are breakable. The figurines and jewelry contain small pieces that can cause choking if swallowed. Our products are made for decoration purposes only. They are not toys. We do not recommend them for small children. With the proper care, Critter Crafts products will last a lifetime.

How long will it take to receive my order?

This depends on the time of year and whether we have the base item in stock. Because our figurines are made primarily to be used as ornaments, we are extremely busy from September 1st through Christmas. We try to ship your order within 2 weeks. However, because these products are made individually by hand to your specifications, orders can take up to 4-6 weeks for delivery. If you have a specific date that you need your order delivered by, please let us know by sending an email to Crittercrafts@cox.net. If we can't complete your order in the time frame given, you will be notified and given the opportunity to accept or cancel your order.

How are the products shipped?

We usually ship your order through U.S. Priority Mail which promises a 2-3 day delivery.  This delivery time is not guaranteed, so please allow plenty of time for the completion and shipment of your items when ordering.  If the package is heavy, we may choose to ship your items through Fed Ex or UPS.  The delivery company is chosen at our discretion.  The buyer accepts responsibility for the items upon shipment.  Therefore, you may want to consider adding insurance to your order.  We will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items once the package has been sent.  All shipping fees include a delivery confirmation charge.

Do you accept custom orders?

Due to the number of orders we receive weekly, we are unable to accept changes in our designs or clothing colors. You can customize your order by selecting hair color, hair style, facial hair and glasses. If you have an idea for a hobby or occupation that is not on our design list, please send your suggestion to Crittercrafts@cox.net and we will take it under consideration.

What is the easiest way to place my order?

Go to the individual product page and click on any of the photos, that will take you directly to our shopping cart.

Do you accept personal checks?

We're sorry, we've received too many checks back for insufficient funds, so we had to change our payment policy. We now accept credit cards, money orders, cashier's checks and Paypal. We no longer accept credit card payments through our website.  If you would like to pay by credit card, you will need to call Jeanne at 949-888-8971 with your credit card information.  You can feel at ease knowing that you can make a secure online payment through our Paypal account.

Are your products available wholesale?

At this time our stamping and scrapbook products are the only ones available to be purchased wholesale. We sell to retail stores only. If you are interesting in purchasing wholesale items, please contact us at Crittercrafts@cox.net.

bulletWhat is your policy in regards to returns, cancellation, or refunds?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return UNDAMAGED items in their original packaging within ten days of the original shipment date.  Please package the items carefully.  If you package the items you are returning without protecting them from damage, we cannot issue a refund.  We charge a 20% restocking fee for all returned items, unless we have made a mistake.  The credit card used for the original purchase will be credited in the amount originally charged for the returned item(s). Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your bill. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable unless we have sent the wrong item.

Your order can be cancelled at any time if the item has not already been completed.  We are customizing your ornament(s) to your specifications and the sale is considered final upon completion.  We appreciate your understanding of the effort involved in creating each individual figurine and hope that you will be considerate of our time and that you will not place or cancel your order lightly.
